Many students are asked to choose a college, major, career path, or next step and spend tens of thousands of dollars before they have had enough space to grow in wisdom, confidence, faith, and ownership.
Threshold was created to give students a meaningful season between high school and what comes next…a year to slow down, be formed, ask better questions, build lasting relationships, and prepare for the future with greater clarity and courage.

Meet Gavin Potter
Founder | CEO
Gavin Potter brings a decade of experience working with gap year programs. In key leadership roles, he oversaw residence life, designed and taught courses, implemented data-driven systems to support student growth, and contributed to student recruitment efforts.
His work reflects a strong commitment to student development, integrity-filled leadership, discipleship, and formation.
Gavin is a long-suffering Atlanta Braves fan, a church softball enthusiast, and loves spending time with his wife and friends. He and his wife Anna live in Central, South Carolina, and they met while working for a gap year program together.
